My System: Phoenix Apollo MC+CI Motorised dish Dell Notebook computer
Cool phoenix apollo receiver help!

I've had my system working for a few years now, but I could do with updating the channels - which according to the manual, needs to be done by downloading software from phoenix's site. Have they gone bankrupt, cos their website seems way out of date? If they have does anyone have the software to allow me to update channels, or do i need to look at a new receiver? I can get radio on the system too, but was never able to get any BBC Radio channels - they seem to be scrambled - can anyone help with this? any ideas? kfb

My System: IDD CI24 ECONO MM Penta 1.20 Galaxy II 1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 21 years and is still driven by a modified wiper motor from a Ford Anglia. It's like me sometimes groans but always performs

Well

Why can you not scan the channels or am I being too simplistic?

If you cannot receive BBC radio channels then assuming you are aligned to 28.2/5 East then the above should solve the problem. Frequencies change on a weekly basis, I suggest you have a look at details here

If you are on the wrong satellite now that is a different matter

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

Yup.

Auto/Blind Scan (If the Receiver supports it) will get you up to date.

Failing that, manually correlate your stored Transponder List with the one linked to by Topper (ie Add/Delete/Edit as required).

Then Scan!
