technomate TM 6900 Combo

I'm looking at the technomate TM 6900 Combo which apparently has two tuners. I have a twin LNB on my dish. Can I watch one programme whilst recording another?

Unfortunately not, one is a terrestrial tuner

Thanks you satelliteman and andyx. I assume therefore even with the external hard drive I can only record the channel I am watching?

My System: Covering 30W-105.5E range, two motors, C and Ku band. Various receivers/cards/cams/etc.

I can't tell for 6900 Combo, but for 6900 Combo plus you can:

1. watch encoded, record fta at same time (only from same TP, or DVB-S + DVB-T)
2. record fta, watch encoded at same time (only from same TP, or DVB-S + DVB-T)
3. record fta, watch another fta same time (only from same TP, or DVB-S + DVB-T)

new firmware, wich will allow to record 2 channels and watch 3rd one at same time is to come out soon.
