Unhappy Poorly Passion +

Hi

have passion +which was working until for no apparent reason it decided when turning on to show loader version (v1.5) then display shows the word illegal. Have tried factory reset, have tried to re install latest software on fat 32 formatted usb stick, power off insert stick power on although i see a usb indicator in the display there is no option to install files, display goes straight to illegal after showing loader version. Have tested lnb by fitting my old sky box to dish which works OK.

Looks terminal to me, is there a hard factory re set anywhere in the box?

Any ideas??

Thankyou

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Try unplugging it for half an hour, may put it right.

Sorry nothing's worked, not many hobbyists use them, so not too many suggestions for a cure.

Eureka

gave it one last try, reloaded loader and update software on to alternative memory stick, (which has lots of other files on it) Put it in the USB slot (front one) the turned on, I was offered file 2, previously no files were seen. Proceeded to install, no factory reset Passion rebooted with a screen I hadnt seen before offering update or skip, let it update (10 mins or so) It works EPG HD all look good, quality looks excellent (but I would say that having had no pic for the last 6 weeks!)

Never give up! I just wish I knew what I was doing.
