My System: communal dish sky subscription
Question arabsat lancaster

Hello everyone I live in a building with a communal dish and I have Sky subscription. How can I watch arabsat channels? Does anyone know a company or a service provider in Lancaster that can get me arabsat? Sky doesn't have arabic channels except for one channel only.

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Aside from internet streams, you won't get anything arabic without a separate dish, 26E and 7W both require large dishes, but Hotbird 13E has quite a few arabic channels, a 50cm dish would do for that satellite.

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

Anything less than 90cm and there is no chance of BADR due to the Beamwidth of the Dish being insufficiently narrow to reject signals from 28E.

yeah, youre dead right I realised what it was next to on the arc right after I posted -Duh- never go near 28e myself, try to forget its there
I guessed he was in the UNI, would have a fantastic take off from a southerly window, maybe one of those transparent 85cms would do it
