My System: Technomate TM1000D. Vista.
Which HD receiver?

Hi,

For about three years now I have had a Technomate TM1000D which I have been very happy with. The time has come for an upgrade to something that will receive HD.

Which receivers do you recommend? I was looking at the TM6800. Is this a good choice?

Thanks
Markus

Welcome to the forum Markus,

Very good receiver with osd menus similar to that of the TM1000D. Also depends on your requirements and budget.

Thank you satelliteman. Will I be able to record HD programs to an external hard disk connected to the USB port? Will the recording be in HD?

Thanks
