My System: 80 cm dish
Fortec Star dish Nilesat 7°W & Intelsat 68.5°E

Hi guys,

I'm from Germany in NRW.

I saw the offer from maplin for the 185cm dish
from Fortec Star.

Therewith I want to receive mainly the satellite
Nilesat 7°W for the tranponder 11881 H.

I wanted to know from the people who have
such a dish if they can receive it.

I also saw the other threads but I wanted an actual answer.

The point is if this dish is "OK".

Thank you in advance

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Sorry that nobody has replied, may be fortecstar desensitising.

The large fortecstar dishes are cheaply made and buckle at the slightest sign of a strong wind, they are also very difficult to set up accurately and often come with completely the wrong LNB. Have a look on Ebay for a used bargain, there are always large dishes on there.
