Hello RolfW!


Can you help me? I have a few general questions.....I have just purchased a technomate 5500 and dish to pick up german channels from 19.2 Astra..............how difficult should this be to direct at the satellite...I am doing it with a compass and not getting anything except english channels......

can you help??

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

If you are receiving English channels, then you are probably on Astar 28.2 East, so swing your dish a few degrees round to the west.
