Samsung DSR 9000 - Problem

I hope that there is someone here that can help me.
I have a DSR 9000 but I have forgotten the PIN number for the box, so I am unable to add new channels, org. fav. etc.
Is there a way I can reset the whole thing and start again?
I have tried the usual codes: 0000, 1234
I tried using a program called *samreset* but that was for a DSR 9500 - it didn't work.
Am I better off buying a second hard box?
Thanks

Go to menu --> System Information --> press 0000

This will reset your pin to 0000 ( factory default)
