Changing PIDS! Which reciever can cope?? HELP!

Hi guys..

After a long break I finally managed to save money to set up a 1m dish at 16east for Armenia TV on 12.725V SR 3416...however...I was relaly gutted to see that the pids change regularly so now no one bothers updating them..

I would like advice on a (cheap) reciever that can handle "reading" the PID's from the stream,,if there is such a thing...and for a bit of immediate relief..could someone who has such a reciver find the current ones for me and post so i can at least watch for an hour or so??

Any help greatly appreciated...thank you..

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

You need something which does a blind search, the older Coship receiver does, satellitesuperstore sell them I believe, but the Skystar2 I think will also do it using setup4PC.

Ok,sorry i just checked what a blind search was..

Am i Correct in thinking that ANY PC DVB card can do a blind search as long as I have the software? therefore would it be cheaper to purchase the card and then use it to find the pid's then add them to my normal reciever?
if so which card is recmommended? and what software?

Thanks

I always recommend the SS2, as it does everything on the basic reception side and is such good value. Does your receiver not do a network search?

Thanks for your help

I have a Provision reciever ..As far as I Can see there is no option for a network search..just channel and advanced with pids etc.

I am impressed that a skystar is 59 quid....I may just buy that..then where would I find this setup4 pc software??
