I am thinking of buying an *Sat 6000 receiver from Germany and then patching it. Does anyone know if it will work OK in the UK please?

My System: IDD CI24 ECONO MM Penta 1.20 Galaxy II 1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 21 years and is still driven by a modified wiper motor from a Ford Anglia. It's like me sometimes groans but always performs ![]() Saved us from the black plague of ignoratio elenchi, he awaits a special badge with jugs | Hi Dippy No need to worry these days, going back to the 80's Europe was 220V 1ph 50 Hz and UK was 240V 1ph 50 Hz, that situation resolved itself when the grids were connected through the Chunnel and a 230V 1ph 50Hz compromise was reached. Now if only these people could get their act together and adopt one standard socket and plug type we wouldn't have to mess around with different adaptors when travelling to Europe, but of course that would make life too easy and put these Brussel spouts (yes I did spell it right) out of a highly lucrative job and final salary pension.....
