Echostar AD - 3600 IP Viaccess - " No User LNB Setting Menu "

To all Echostar AD-3600 IP Viaccess - Users

First :-

After I upgrade the above receiver with the latest version below

" Echo Nav 3.05 - Version 1100 , on Nov. 16 , 2004 , with the Imprtant Note :-

1- Added , autonmatic national/Local Channel Change .
2 - Improved fixed dish - motorized behavior .
3 - Updated satellite and transponder database .

The USER LNB SETTING Menu does not come , can anybody what is wrong ?

Second :-

Before and After Upgrading , When I press the white button " DVR" to Add
new transponders by selecting option " Add Data " comes the following menu:

1 - SAT
2 - Frequency
3 - Polarity
4 - SKEW ------->
5 - Symbol Rate
6 - Video PID
7 - Audio PID
8 - PCR PID
-------------------------------------------
When I input all data for the above parameters , when I reach # 4 - SKEW
by using Up/Down button the crusor skip # 4- SKEW , When I read in the user manual it says this :- " SKEW - To adjust the Horizontal/Vertical setting
( only for polarotor ) .
But I am connecting the polarotor wires to the receiver , because I am using
Chaparral C/Ku Feedhorn with Wideband LNB and C-Band LNB , then why the
SKEW does not respond to the connection . Can anybody tell why ?

Third :-

The above receiver also dose not have the Field " FEC " they say the receiver
will input FEC values automatically for all transponders . But the receiver does not accept all frequencies with FEC = 7/8 Why ? Can anybody knows ?

Beat Regards

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 5 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/13E/16E /19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue

Skew will ONLY work if the LNB has a polorotator on it. Horizontal / vertical switching is normally done with 13 / 18 volt switching.

If it worked before the upgrade, then you need to find the menu option to re-enable the polorator setting - the upgrade has just switched it off.

Thank very much for your reply

I am connecting the polarotor wires to the receiver , because I am using
Chaparral C/Ku Feedhorn , and It did not work before the upgrade even , since I bought this receiver : Skew " does not activate . I think the upgrade does not swich it off .

Best Regards
