My System: Technomate 7750 |
I have just plugged in my new Technomate 7750 reciever today and with eager anticipation flicked on the power switch. The led display shows 'On' for a few seconds and the standby light flashes the the display shows ERR8. The system locks up and the reciever ignores the handset. Am I missing something really obvious here? Can anyone help? Any advice greatly appreciated | ||

A bit late I know but to anyone else who has this problem. Go to Technomate site get the latest downloads and upload it to the receiver. It started workin for me after that. | |||

not a good sign. No, this should not be happening. Is it possible that your supplier has provided other than the original firmware for this reciever? I see you as having 2 options -you could download the original firmware from the Technomate website into your reciever -you can contact your supplier, if you don't want to take any risks, and arrange for replacement. | |||

| i know what either you or your supplier has done...they either: downloaded the wrong software or did not wait until the software fully downloaded (i.e. when the BOOT disappears from the receiver's front panel screen) | ||
