menu gone crazy

Hi there
have an echostar 3000 with dragon 3.1,my problem is when selecting ok to bring up the channels most of the names have changed fonts and the name of the channels are spelt incorrectly.Do you think my trusty old echostar is on its way out or is there a simple solution to this.

regards,chambo

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

Try taking the dragon out & rebooting it.

If the problem is still there it may be the old memory chip failure problem from around 2002.

I did have something similar a couple of times a while back when renaming some channels, but it fixed itself and the problem seems to have gone away.
