I suggest you don't buy aston.
I bought aston 2000 (same as 1800 without hd)
Since the beginning (one year ago), the right part of the picture cannot be seen on the TV (using YC or RGB output, it's OK with CVBS signal)
I am looking for a new receiver because, nnow, my aston 2000 is out of order (the picture becomes unstable)
Not an aston again

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

I've got a Digiquest 2000 and it isn't bad but there are some oddities with it. First one was thst it didn't like the MR on Nagra, second is that the remote control seems over sensitive and the up and down buttons often jump a couple of channels or functions with the lightest of touches.

My System: Aston Xena 1800 HDU receiver Astra 19.2 Astra 28.2 Hotbird

I am thinking to buy the Aston Xena 1800 (HD) together with a Canalsat (France) Subsciption.
Any feedback?
