Help with adding channels please

I hope someone can help or point me in the right direction.

I have a Technomate 5500CI Super, to which I am trying to add channels. I've tried both an automatic search and advanced search, each time it finds the additional channels but doesn't save them to the channel list, a warning comes up saying channel list full. When I searched a single frequency it found 11 channels and said channel list is full 1 is over. When I re-scanned 19.2E it said 138 is over.

I know it can't be full because it can take 9000 channels. There's no where near that many on it at the momemt.

My System: LNB, Dish, Motor, Cable, Receivers all taken down and donated to a newbie.

Delete all the radio channels in your receiver and any satellites that you cannot receive and any transponders that do not show any quality level, this should free up some memory.

Many thanks jacko and RedAltoGL

I deleted a number of radio channels and was able to scan in the new tv channels I wanted.
