Pace to supply STBs to Viasat

Pace Micro Technology has announced a new digital TV set-top box contract with Viasat Broadcasting. Viasat Broadcasting is the pay and free-to-air TV satellite broadcasting division of Modern Times Group MTG AB.

Viasat will utilise Pace's latest satellite digital set-top box platform with PSTN modem to continue its roll-out of digital pay-TV in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Viewers can access a wide range of digital programming on the Viasat DTH satellite platform, including leading local and international entertainment channels, premium film and sports channels, digital radio and pay-per-view events.
