My System: I am a retired person
Zee TV, Sony Asia etc.

Hi Folks,

I am a complete novice in the Sat. field so any advice on equipment or how to go about would be appreciated.

I want to watch, mainly Indian Progs. Such as Zee TV & Sony Asia etc. which I believe are subscription channels on Sky platform

I have short listed, a 80cm motorised system with, Tecnomate TM-1500 CI+, with 0.2db Universal LNB, all costing around £250 (VAT inc.). With right cams/cards, would it deliver, or should I go for different receiver etc. ?

Thanks, Regards, & Happy X-Mas.

No. You buy a sky digibox and subscribe to your desired services.

Actually, a dragon cam in the Technomate should work, BUT you would need access to a digibox to activate the card.

A sky digibox is a MUCH simpler way out all round.
