Question Humax IRCI /PAL/Eurosport

I have the following setup: fixed dish, 2 x lnb, pointing at astra and hotbird. This all works fine.

According to lyngsat, on Astra 1C, I should be able to receive Eurosport (with English commentary) on 11259V.

But when I do a search on this frequency I don't find anything. It appears that I don't have any of the channels on the frequencies listed on Astra 1C (which are all PAL).

Any suggestions or advice appreciated on how to find this channel would be much apreciated.

Thanks.

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

That'll be in analogue Sonic, all those listed as PAL are analogue transmissions.

Depending on the setup you have and the 'accessories' you have access to , Eurosport transmits in English on 12558V (27.5- 3/4) on Hotbird in Viaccess

Additionally if you can understand German its FTA on Astra at 11.954 H

Theres nothing to stop you looking for a cheap (theyre now almost disposable) analogue receiver and connect it to the loopthrough of your existing setup, to get the original transponder

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness"

That'll explain it! Thanks guys.

I knew PAL was analogue but assumed I could pick up both digital and analogue with the humax.
