Multichoice Cards not Non-MCSA Decoders

Interesting how money affects some companies. Multichoice SA has embarked on a system to increse money grabbing from poors souls by - (this is interesting) making cards which reject non-multichoice decoders! I think they want to make it impossible for third party decoders like strong to hit Pas 7/10. Strong decoders seems to have killed their decoder sells. Anyway, they now want to kill themselves!
You buy a card and subscribe, the card will only work on their decoders and not third-party decoders. These are new cards which are labelled "version 5" and are Irdeto 2. I think this may help in some way as it will make it a need to hack the system.
I hate the multichoice decoder, but I pay for their service. I wonder what I'll do if my daughter, was to scratch the card. I'm told they don't have any lower versions in place. But that could help me save money and buy a large dish and search for better programs. But they don't want anyone else with the same decoder to subscribe to their system unless he is ready to sell his decoder, abandon all other satellites and the benefits they offer and depend on them. I think that is not only a bad business decision but a cheap way to go about it too.
Their system will not work well for other Sats. I find it very boring and un-user friendly.
I think these companies should find a way to make their business survive and frankly, I think this way is not it.
