My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

You will not get the full American version I'm afraid.

Wait and hold your horses. I asked you for american tv ages ago. And Ive found it. It may not be direct from america, but its usually live and broadcast the same day! Flick yourself to nilesat, UK Sky, and on MBC4 watch friends, oprah, Dr Phil, Malcom, missing, NICS, Alias,ER and loads others, on Onetv you can watch some of martha stewart, and some ABC progs. I watched one the other day and it had a clip from season 2 of lost. Dunno if itll be on that before english tv tough. Also in the morning from 8am, it shows live news from US, also they are up to episode 14 of season 2, so youve missed half of them, just wait 8 weeks (57 days) and then we´ll all have our beloved Lost back!

Nilesat is not easily available in much of the UK without some seriously big dishes. Even in East Anglia you need 1.2m for just one set of polarity.

The OP disnt ask for "American TV" He asked specifically for ABC. We were correct in our comments - you cant get it in Europe.

Anyway, just wait UK sat. If you want lost series 2 do what we do (not that i condone this ILLEGAL PRACTICE) Download Kazaa or other file sharing network and get Lost off there.

My System: Dreambox 7020 with 120 gig hard-drive disk - running a motorised dish DM800 +DM600 +DM500 although only usually the 7020 and 800 are both on.

I can get Nilesat but none of those channels appear in my services listing?,
do you think a rescan is needed and if os how often do members rescan for new chans?

If your location is correct (UK) you will find Nilesat reception variable according to frequency and polarisation. The H polarity channels in particular are weak in the UK. You may find your dish just isnt up to reception of some transponders.

Ahem

To go back to the original post you will not get ABC in the UK despite what other posts have been made regarding other US channels
