Are TPS going to change an encryption system or something? when is TPS going to become unavailable? because i dont want to spend £110 on a Patched TM1500+CI and TPS goes off

Sooner rather than later we are led to believe.
Don't worry though there are other things available with a patched reciever, 19E and 30w are two good examples at the moment.
There always seems to be something open at sometime.

ok cheers, will d+ on astra 1 be open for long? because for some reason i get worse reception on astra1 than hotbird, maybe i'll cut some of those trees down, but my hotbird i get between 50% and 72% quality on most tps but the dish appears to be pointing right through the trees and moving it up on the pole about 10cm seems to improve all channels, weird lol

To answer your question, Spending £110 on the technomate will be money well spent.
As for how long will TPS, D+ or any other hack last is the million dollar question but when one door closes another opens which is why there are so many of us here every day waiting to see what happens next.
And my final thought would be to suggest a mono block so you dont have to keep moving your dish between 19.2 and 13e

but last time astra 1 was dodgy, i might try and move it to somewhere else on the house to try and compensate for the trees and then possibly get a monoblock but if tps closes i might permanently put it on astra 1

If you are going up there then you may as well put a monoblock on though.
As TPS is going, Polsat has just arrived instead.
It's always a bit like that

i basically want it for the footy when my local team isn't playing at home so im not sure a monoblock will be of much use

Only with babelfish or similar, the files are in that thread I pointed to though.

if they change the keys you can get the new keys to unscramble very quickly if you look in the right place
