Beginner would like help with sat setup

Hi,
I would like to buy a Sat system, for football [premiership],films etc.
What do i need to get started i.e what reciever, dish size,lnb.
I live in N.Ireland,

The lack of response is probably because the question is a bit too general. Its a bit like saying i'm going to buy a car, any suggestions!
Films and football are not all that easy to get on a regular basis.
You may still have to buy subscriptions.

Sat TV is a very complex subject. The best thing to do is make
friends with your local or nearest dealer and begin at the beginning - but make sure that anything you buy is upgradeable so you do not end up throwing good money after bad.
