My System: Samsung A300W with component output Hotbird & Astra2
Parental Control with different receivers

I have a samsung in which I can lock multiple channels in one go. If I unlock one channel, other locked channels too open as long as the receiver is kept on. Once the receiver is swithed off, all channels are automatically locked.

But in other receivers, I found that I have to unlock every channel I zap and If I come back to the previously unlocked channel I need to unlock again.

I like the Samsung method. I wonder, are there any other brands works the same way as Samsung?

I will appreciate if some one using Dreambox give some answer how parental control works there.

Thank you in advance.

Every little helps and a little help goes a long way!

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Spectrum analyser.

On the PLi images, I believe that once the channels are selected, they are either all on, or all off when toggled from the setup menu.
