11579 H
11615 H
11731 H
11931 H
11931 V
12012 V
12092 V
12149 H
12456 V
12547 V

I can recieve chanels on all the other frequencies but the sigal is 41% maximum and the picture often breaks up. I have tried tweaking the position of the dish without any luck..PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

(see http://www.irte.it/consumersat/consumersat.htm for motor info)

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Spectrum analyser.

Sounds like the motor is out of alignment. Are the other frequencies, the ones you can see, all lower?

hi rolfw, the frrequencies that I can recieve are:
11682 v
11811 v
I should also have said before that all the frequencies stored in the sat receiver are the ones containing the FTA channels from the AnalogueSat website.

thanks, lasharratt

Merlin of the Idiot Guide

I find 11535V-24500 (multicanal) channels extremely difficult - it has to be absolutely spot on to get picture.

Make sure that the LNB skew in particular is right.

My System: technomate 1500CI+, 90cm motorised by an IRTE Omiview motor, freeview.

I have rotated the LNB and I have received a signal from some of the other frequencies, however the signal is quite poor and I still cannot get any signal from some of them. The strongest signal is 11811v at 91%, but others such as 11615 are 30%. Does anyone know whet the problem might be?

Sometimes the motor can be inaccurate: it sometimes moves a few degrease to the left / right of the satellite position and needs tweaking a bit. This may be because it is quite an old system, or there may be something else wrong...is this likely to affect the signal even when I tweak the position to get the best signal? The motor is an IRTE Omniview

I would appreciate help from anyone....thanks....lasharratt

My System: Fortec Star Lifetime Classic FTA, Turksat, Astra2, Astra1, W2 16E, Hotbird, Hispasat
Hispasat in Buckinghamshire

My very first post.

I re-tuned Hispasat yesterday on a very rusty 70 cm $KY analogue dish in Buckinghamshire. I get 43 - 85% SQ on most of the TPs you list. I agree with RolfW, skew is particularly important with Hispasat. I have had one or two TPs on a 43 cm $ky mini dish which had very limited skew adjustment facilities, but decided that the dish was better employed on 19E.

I couldn't get a lock on 11615 H ( the HOT one!) after tweaking on the strong TPs so I tweaked on 11615 H until I got 46% SQ and finished up with around 25 deg. clockwise skew from behind; which seems about right. I recall that I could get a much higher SQ on that TP using some outlandish skew but little SQ on anything else.

I hope the weather stays fine!

Most of the major FTA channels on Hispasat are actually available on 19E.

Be adventurous with the skew.
