My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Spectrum analyser.

Looks like a Philips D-Box 2 (although I've never seen one), they are a Linux box and very popular with the hobbyists.

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

If that first pic is correct its an old OnDigital DTT box not a satellite box I used to have one until it closed in 2002. Slow as hell but I wish I hadnt given mine away....

OK for a few extra DTT channels if you are in area, but no longer supported by anybody.

Quite why an ondigital box would have a sat input on it though is anyones gues....

The front pic is of a philips DTT on digital receiver if you wanted to buy one in 1998 without a sub they cost £300 but the other pics are not a philips on digital box it can not be a philips dbox2 as they have a screen on the front of them? maybe its a dbox1 if you look under the receiver there should be a sticker with the model number on it

Simply as I could use it to record one channel whilst watching another. Not that it really matters, as I am planning on putting a 3rd satellite system into the living room over the summer so we can record fta channels whilst watching the pay channels
