Hyundai HSS 800

Hi guys

Thinking of buying the Hyundai HSS 800 CI as a complete 1m system from Hisat. Any views on the reciever or Hisat anyone?

Cheers.

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

The HSS800 is now an obsolete model, so whilst being an excellent receiver, there are newer and better versions available.

I believe that the HSS range do not work with the Matrix Reloaded either, although this is only 2nd hand information.

Certainly nothing wrong with Hi-sat, as far as I know, in fact they helped me with update software for my HSS800 when I needed it a couple of years ago.

Reason I was thinking of this receiver was mainly the price: 260GBP seems a good price to me for a complete steerable sat system including receiver, dish, LNB, stab, etc, etc. Of course if anyone has any info about similar systems below 300GBP, please let me know.

Have a look at the www.satarmy.de site, they often have some good deals on there.
