My System: 2 sky doggyboxes FTA
Can anyone help me???

Hi all I have managed to get my hands on a Digi ALB receiver ODS3000c
I know its diseqc 1.2 and i have been told it will work picking up astra 2d, now i wasnt given the remote, and my laughingly called universal remote will not operate it. How can i get into the menu's with out one? Or is there another 'universal remote' that will operate it? I only want FTA on it anyway, although i have the card. Can anyone help or at least point me in the right direction??? Thanx

I recently purchased a Logitech Harmony universal remote and despite many problems and shortcomings, the one thing it did do was control all my equipment – despite having some quite old and weird models. I’ve just checked their on-line lists and although they don’t have your exact model they say that an Alba REC-660 should be equivalent.
These remotes are not cheap, but you might try to borrow one from a neighbour. They are updated via Internet and you register an account where all the remote's settings are stored. If you set up a completely separate account to run your tests, you can put the remote back the way it was before handing it back!!!
