Scenario: I'm using a Technomate 1500CI at the moment which is connected to a Motec USALS motor. The upper CAM is the "built" in card reader where I'm using an original Nordic Canal+ card (Conax). In the bottom CI slot, I have inserted an original Viaccess (Red and black) module in with a SVT Europa card for the Swedish broadcasts. I also enjoy some of the other encrypted channels free as the receiver is patched with the Darkman patch. So far so good. Question: I don't want to loose any of these great functions but want to upgrade to a HD receiver with USALS. Does the Humax HD-CI2000 have any facillity to get patched and if not what CAM should I get to keep the multicrypt function (like the Technomate I have now) in where I can use my Conax Canal+ card and also enter the hex codes from the remote control for other encrypted channels? | ||

| no where to enter keys and no patches for the humax as far as i know,it's a very simplified user interface,i've had the humax for about a fortnight now,it's mainly a free to view receiver, dragon cam might be the best option for you to get the same results you are getting with the technomate. It has the usals option mentioned in the user manual, but unlike the technomate doesn't have the usals logo on the front of the box/receiver. | ||
