My System: Sky Digital 2 Freeview
Accesing American TV

Hi folks this is my very first visit and post here to the tidy site satelites.co.uk.

I am currently enquireing as to how i would go about receving G4TV in the Uk and watching the american channels. What equipment do i need to do this and what would this cost?

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Can't see any mention of it being transmitted to anywhere outside the US, you may however be able to find an internet feed for it if you dig around a bit.

The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue

There are plenty of American channels transmitting in the Skies above Europe. However unless you are a serious religious nut or speak Farsi they will be of limited interest to you.....

Its not possible to watch the main American channels in Europe - most of the satellites are below our western horizon. The few that are theoretically above the horizon are firing beams aimed at the continental USA.

Either find some web feeds to watch or move Stateside
