Hello, can anybody tell me if there is any sense in connecting my cable to the TV via the RF pass-through of my STB? Currently, i have the STB connected to the TV set with a SCART. I am not sure if connection the RF to the STB and from there to the TV set.

No real reason in connecting the loopthrough, unless you are tending to feed it into an rf distribution sytem.
