What's this Philips box?

I'm getting the 4 boxes in the photo (bought outside of Ebay as I missed the end of the auction) and I'm curious to know what the Philips box is (bottom box) as I've not seen any Philips satelite boxes before, so, what do you think it is?

Auction is Ebay.co.uk/ws/EbayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=006&item=160014895318" target="_blank">here

I knew about the other 3, I mainly just want the MSS300 to replace my current one, but it's just the Philips one that's the mystery, but I have found a page on google with some info on it, but it's a translated page (from Spanish) so it's pretty much gobbldeegook...

Have a look for yourself:

Here's the original page then...

As for a cable box, you sure that's not a D-Box? Doesn't look like any usual D-Box I've seen...

Well it doesn't have a card, so it'll probably be just good for an FTA box...

Assuming I can get a remote for it of course...

Well, I have 'em and I'm still clueless as to what that philips box is for, or even the model number!!! But I'll have an investigation tonight and have a play about with it without a remote control...

lol, i bet the previous owner removed the lable with the model number on it so we couldnt find out what the model is as easily .

Unless of course 2cvbloke forgot to look on the bottom, or maybe he is making us wait and has allready found out what it is .

If there is no lable then it might be the old "look under the hood" to see if there is any information printed inside somewhere.

Strange thing curiosity

Any closer to finding out what it is for sure 2cvbloke?

Just to put you all out of your misery, here's the details I took off it:

Philips Digital Receiver Decoder
DSI175B/05G
Canal Digital?
Has RTL channels, maybe suited for or used on 19.2e?

Need a remote for it though as my universal remote is pants...
