My System: Wanting to setup syste to receive ART sports
Best viewing cards?

I would like some advice on what card to buy. I want to watch football so I need the ART Sports package, but are there any cards that encorporate this with some movie channels?

Thanks for quick reply.

I don't want to subscribe - I just want to buy the card like Art sports that will last for a year. Without having to interchange different cards in the receiver.

Cheers

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Have a look at our advertisers mantesat.com and starsatelliteuk.com, I believe that they do the packages you want and also sell complete systems including the cards.

This is wild expensive and doesn't seem to have Art sports 5 & 6 which are the main things I want.

Also what size of dish will I need. I couldn't get away with anything over 1m as my mum would kill me

Forget it then, as you won't get a sniff with a 1m or lower.

This package should have what you want and is easily receivable.

Yeah that card looks nice - I think thats the one for me. So anything under 1m and I won't get a signal. But I said to an installer what I was getting 80-90cm dish with technomate 1500 ci and he said everything I had looked ok. Do I definately need a 1m dish?

Cheers

For nilesat for all transponders includeing horizotal i would say a 2.4m andrews would do it i think a 1.8m would be a bit to small a 1.8m just about pulls in the horizonals in s wales

If you wanted irdeto ART you would only need a ART irdeto card the cost about £100ish a hotbird card would not do it as they use via2,
