Pace PVR now down to £220

The Pace PVR - also known as the Puma - is being heavily discounted in the run-up to Christmas. 24-7 Electrical is offering it for £219.98, while Argos is offering it for £248, and Comet is selling it at £249.99. Probably a good time to buy, given that the 7-day Freeview EPG is likely to be emerging in January 2004

My System: 1 metre motorised dish ,Pace Positioner,Manhattan ST200 variant,....Linux Fedora Core 5 running on 1ghz (free download) Windows XP on 2ghz...(not so cheap purchase)

bought one myself -they are very useful - no more scratching around looking for tapes when i want to record something and the ease of use makes it a doddle when i want to programme it.
Top marks to pace for this.
