My System: Technomate 5400 CI+ USB, 70CM Motorised dish, XCAM, Infinity USB Pheonix Panasonic Freeview |
I would be grateful for any help on this matter. Would a second hand top up tv cam and card work in my Technomate 2CI receiver to access the additional (Freeview) subscription channels via satellite, or would I need to buy yet another box?

My System: Channel Master 1.2m motorised, V Box, Technomate 1500ci. | No, the top up tv cam is for terrestrial freeview. I note from your sig, "Panasonic Freeview" - does this mean a Panasonic TV with Freeview? In which case case, does the TV have a cam slot in which the top up tv cam would go? If that's what you're after, of course!

My System: Mostly gathering dust cos there's no room for dishes here... :( The Sleepy Hollow pollracle has spoken! | I'm sure that a TUTV Cam can be used as an Aston Cam as they both decrypt SECA based channels with a valid sub. card... ![]() I know the reverse is true as I tried an Aston cam in my mum's IDTV and it worked the TUTV card perfectly (and actually, the picture looked a bit clearer oddly with the Aston!!!)...
