2nd receiver at home

Hi.

I am about to get Canal Digital from satellite in Sweden. Have been told it will probably be possible to take the card with me to the UK and get a signal. Just wonder if I will need to take the receiver with me back and forth. I know that SKY boxes are "paired" with their card, so is the case the same for a Canal Digital card?

Preferably, I would like to leave the receiver in place and only travel with the card.

Thanks for any comments.

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

I believe that any Conax embedded receiver will do, but I'm sure than one of our Swedish members will put me right if in error.

You will need a fairly big dish in much of the UK.
