Digitalb Hotbird 6-9

Hi all,

Is there a chance to recive Hotbird 6-9 on Digitalb Kaon HD reciver?

Only 1-5 is available, and CNN has been scrambled for last few days on HB1-5, due to Sky Italia moving to HB9.

Eh?? DigitalAlb is carried on Eutelsat W2.

Hotbirds 1 through 5 are all out of service (1 sent to junk orbit / 2 - 5 redeployed elsewhere) The operational Hotbirds are 6, 8 & 9.

CNN is a scrambled service on 13E. Its in the clear on 19E and 28E

You will have to look through the various menu on the Kaon receiver to see whether it has been allowed to receive from packages/satellites other than DigitalB.

I thought I read somewhere that the receiver has been programmed to only work with DigitalB, but not sure on that.

Thank you both,

I tryed changing the frequency for Hotbird but it doesnt work. Also Astra 19.2E is listed there but it does not give any signal reception, meaning it's blocked in the receiver.

I guess i'm stuck only with this package.

When you purchase a Digitalb system in Albania - they give you a lnb that picks up both 13e & 16e that works on the Kaon official receiver.
