Hi,
Your _Sky dish setup is fine to use with a technomate.

Any movement of the dish even by 5 degrees would mis-align it.

I belive that you can get dish setps designed specifically for boats,
where the dish is aligned automatically. A google search should provide more info.

Lol no it cant be anything out it has to be perfect. if you had 2 lnbs how would u switch between the 2?? even if that was posibleit would take ages to switch and by the time you have done that its time to switch again.

As said in an earlier post there is an item like spirit level which will correct it.. and keep the dish in its positition.

The dishes for boats have gyro stabilisation, but they are of course not very cheap, click here.

My System: Mostly gathering dust cos there's no room for dishes here... :(

The Sleepy Hollow pollracle has spoken!

Maybe you could construct some sort of pivot & weight system which keeps the dish straight at any angle at which the boat is at, or there are some pretty expensive, but effective, self-adjusting boat & caravan/motorhome dishes which can do the same job...
(rolf beat me to it!!!)

If you're on the canal or river, just sit the dish on the ground, either on a tripod or a pole hammered into the ground when you're moored up...

I've seen a few narrowboats round here which have minidishes and even Lidl or Maplin portable kit dishes fitted, and I guess that they work pretty well on the boats, but there are the odd few on a pole in the ground...

I think your car looks funny too......
