hi to all like everyone else im trying to squeeze everything out of my set up,ive just measured the cable run and its longer than i thought ..23m to be exact do i need an amp on my 1.2m dish,will it help get the very weak signals just that bit better thanks iwol | ||

It's going to introduce noise particularly on low-level signals; best to concentrate on upgrading your cable (use something like WF125) or maybe a better low-noise LNB if you haven't one already.
