hi to all like everyone else im trying to squeeze everything out of my set up,ive just measured the cable run and its longer than i thought ..23m to be exact do i need an amp on my 1.2m dish,will it help get the very weak signals just that bit better thanks iwol | ||

Diablo/Mrev Cams  Fighting the evil 3 Dragons under the Don Quixote banner,Sir Llew persevered where others failed | I wouldn't consider using an in-line amp unless you have a cable run of >35m. It's going to introduce noise particularly on low-level signals; best to concentrate on upgrading your cable (use something like WF125) or maybe a better low-noise LNB if you haven't one already.
