My System: technomateTM-5500 CIP
lost channels

I have a technomate TM-5500 CIP and have just moved house.I can receive a signal from all satellites I select, but when I search for channels I only receive those from 27500Ksps and none from 22000Ksps. Would the length of the co ax cable have any bearing on this. I have also replaced the LNB to a 0.2db universal.

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

Can you give a few details on your complete system, then we can help.

PS. How long is the cable run?

From the receiver to the dish the run is about 20 metres. LNB is Smart titanium 2nd edition universal 0.2db, the dish is 80cm. I receive a good signal strength from astra 19e to hispasat 30w

Have you tried changing back to the old LNB?

I've got an old nokia receiver I think I'll connect it up and see what channels that shows up. The reason I got the new LNB was because I didn't receive all the channels I should have.
Cheers for showing an interest I just hope its not the receiver knackered.

I'd be surprised if it were the receiver, you could always try a factory reset as a last resort, you would lose your channel list and positions, but it may solve the problem.
