Skew on motorized systems

I am right in thinking that with you leave the skew set to zero on a KU band motorized system? Reason is I having big probs with Foxturk on 33e and thought I might try fiddling a bit but seem to remember that motorized dishes set their own skew at they turn and tilt.

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

You can always try, a small adjustment may improve it, I'm sure that the orientation of different satellites can vary by a small amount.

Also due to manufacturing tolerances, LNB's can be the odd deg. or two out, can make a difference on weak signals.

My arc is very nice, thank you very much. Sadly, my TM9100 is pants.
