My System: Dreambox 500S 80cm Orbital Satellite Dish Motorized LNB with 2 outputs, 2nd output leading to upstairs and using Technomate TM 1000D |
a monoblock LNB with 2 outputs on an 80cm Dish 1st output connected to a motor and then to the technomate receiver and then the 2nd output on the LNB connected to a SKY Digibox.. Would this work??

Blog Entries: 3 My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum. | No, don't think so, as most monobloc LNBs have a 6 degree separation and you would need to make a dummy satellite to enable the Sky side to be in the correct position and the Digibox does not have a DiseqC facility. You would be better to have a separate dish for Sky.

My System: TM6800HD+TD110+StabHH90 motor,TM1000D+Orbital 1m Multifeed 16E,23E,28E.DigitAlB movies. A Bigsat BS-S77CX and a Sky Dodgibox. | It would work with a just a TWIN LNB though. I had this once and it did work. The sky box kept having hiccups though, so as rolf says a separate dish is much better.
