My System: Comag SL65/12 Camping Set with added Monoblock Universal LNB |
I have a Comag SL65/12 camping kit and have fitted a monoblock to it so i can view both Astra 19 and Hotbird 13. Trouble is i can't quite manage to get both at the same time at one dish position. The dish is a circular 35cm type. Has anyone managed to set up a monoblock on this size dish? and if not, what's the minimum size i need to view both satellites from a Monoblock at one dish position. Any advice greatly received. Last edited by chrisuk1; 30-09-2007 at 04:36 PM

Use a bigger dish is my advice, 35cm dish is too small to get both with a monobloc. As regards which dish size will be required I could only guess to be honest and my guess would be 60-70cm

My System: Comag SL65/12 Camping Set with added Monoblock Universal LNB | Cheers Topper, i've spent all day trying different combinations but i reckon you're right the dish just aint big enough. Have to trawl through Maplins website and see if i can pick something up there. Hope i can get away with a 43cm high 60cm wide elliptical one.

My System: Comag SL65/12 Camping Set with added Monoblock Universal LNB | Well i've done it guys, i bought a 65cm elliptical dish and it works fine with the monoblock. I now get both Astra 19 and Hotbird 13 without moving dish, only thing is i had to compromise on the signal quality to get about 55% on Astra and 60% on Hotbird, but it's good enough for now. Thanks for all your advice people.
