Hi,

There isn't an Astra satellite at 13E.

Astra 1 is at 19.2E
Astra 2 is at 28.2E
Hotbird is at 13E

Which satellite do you mean?

regards
robbo

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

Cant find AJTAK on that transponder, just searched and it didn't come up. Can you receive any of the channels on that transponder like ZDF?

OK, just checked and you mean Aaj Tak, doing a full satellite search now, to see if it comes up. It isn't shown as being on Hotbird here though.

The name of the channel is actually AAJ TAK
I don't think that it is FTA or if it on Hot Bird 13E
Please always post correct information.

I confirm, a complete scan of Hotbird does not bring that channel up.

According to this:-

_http://en.kingofsat.net/find.php?question=AAJ+TAK&standard=Digital

AAJ TAK is on Eurobird 28.5E, and 24.5W,
neither of them FTA.

Perhaps it's in the pipleline for Hotbird FTA ?

There is an FTA channel Sri TV on the frequency that you gave before.
Check also all the Indian channels on Hot Bird using the Lyngsat website.
But any FTA channel there would be less interesting than if you get a subscription to the encrypted channels of Zee TV.
Read this thread. You can have a personal subscription by filling out the form.

As AT is not carried on Hotbird 13E you will either have to get it from elsewhere or do without.
