Hi Folks, I'm new to the forum and would appreciate some advice on LNB's if you don't mind. Which would you consider to be the better quad lnb, Thomson, Zinwell, or the Wistron. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks Grayo Last edited by Grayo; 15-10-2007 at 07:18 PM.

Welcome to the forum Grayo Well don't expect a flood of answers since the majority of members are just hobbyists/enthusiasts only the few members who are installers could help you with that answer. Have you tried doing a forum search for quad and reading the threads, I am sure there are some opinions there.

My System: 2.4mtr Channel Master Dish, Fracarro Penta 85cm Dish, 64cm Traix Dish with 4 multi LNB'S Sky HD, Dreambox 800, Dreambox 500, IPBOX 250, Sky HD and a mad wife ! | Hi m8, another guy from South Wales I see. Looks like thats the place to be if you like sats. Your LNB "problem" It might help if you post what dish you have and what size it is. All LNBF's work differently with different dishes, I have about 6 different ones here I have collected over the last few years. Now on my 1.1mtr Televes dish I found that the sharp 0.3LNBF was the best by far. This LNBF also worked very well on my gibertini 1.5mtr dish but it was not as good as a invacom c120 and gibertini feedhorn. If you have a dish over 1.2mtr then you really need to be looking at a feedhorn and c120. hope this helps

Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum. | I prefer the Wistron out of the Sky minidish Quad and OCTO LNBs, don't like the Zinwell at all, the Thompson is OK. .

My System: Panasonic TU-DSB30(Main) Panasonic TU-DSB30, Pace 2500N, (Multiroom) | Thanks Lads for getting back. I'm not as far advanced as you all seem to be, (in fact I can just about handle the remote) All I want to do is setup a multiroom sky system. I bought a quad LNB of Ebay The dish I have is the standard sky mesh one nothing special Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Grayo

Should do the job perfectly satisfactorily.
