similar to the first question. currently have sky but want to get rid of it. i only want spanish channels that include tve, andalucia and a host of other spanish channels, and i've heard there's a one off fee you can pay to get the box and dish installed. who do i go to for more information on that and/or is there an alternative using the existing sky dish. many thanks.

Welcome to the forum moomba04 I have moved your post as you had tagged it onto a thread which had not been posted on for 5 years that has got to be a record. Please always start your own thread rather than tagging on to an archived thread. Regarding your query you need to be more specific in exactly in what channels you want to watch naming a couple is not specific enough

My System: Mostly gathering dust cos I'm a lazy git. Porty dish face blew off the mount, not too pleased... The Sleepy Hollow pollracle has spoken! | From the channels you mention, it sounds as though you're after Hispasat at 30 degrees West, all you need is an 80cm dish and a decent non-sky receiver and you're sorted. It is possible to get quite a few free to air spanish channels from Astra1 (19.2E) and Hispasat (30W) If you wanted to use your Sky dish ,Astra1 is possible, you may have a problem with 30W, but it's worth a try. Either way you would need to adjust yout dish. For Astra 1, right by about 10 degrees and up a bit. (from behind dish) You can also use a sky receiver to get those channels as an experiment, but a standard FTA digital satellite receiver is a much better and easier to use option. You can get one from £30 odd and up. Here is a list of some FTA spanish channels available _http://www.flysat.com/tv-sp.php Robbo
