My System: 90cm Dish. Dual Lemon LNB for 13E/19E. Twin Output Lemon LNB for 28.8E. Samsung 9500 with 'alternative' firmware. Couple of DigiBoxes. Amateur Radio station. Going Bald with a patient wife!
Question What should I concentrate on?

Simple questions really - I'll soon be getting a clearer view of the horizon (currently restricted to 28.2 to 10W due to tree and housing) as I'll be chopping a tree down and relocating the dish.

Where should I be concentrating with the dish? It's a 90cm with A/B switch but will probably go back to 1 LNB and motorise again. Receiver is my trusty old Sammy 9500 with emulators running.

(I'll probably put my $ky dish back up for 28.2 as we have Freesat cards in use in a couple of Grundig receivers)

Sorry for so many, what could be a simple question, but I've just got over a bad breakdown, mentally, and a lot of my old memory of satellite stuff is tucked away in my brain and can't be brought back to me easily and my system has sat ununsed for a while until now.

depends what you want. If you want to receive popular strong signals...then they are at:-

28e 19e, 13e, 16e, 1w, 8w, 30w..

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

The main satellites from my point of view are 19E, 13 East, 5 East and probably 30W, I very rarely drive the dish to anything else.

Thanks rolfw - good to see a familiar name from here and other places.

I can easily find a spare dish, or two, so might put them up as cheap options rather than go motorised. Wonder if I can get anything from 5E on a sky sized dish?
