twin/quad lnbs for non sly dish

does anyone use one on a motorised dish ?

are they as good as single lnbs for weak signals ?

why i am asking is that i have recently put a skystar 2 sat card in my pc and want to run a direct feed to it rather than using the lnb loop through from my receiver and having to turn it off when checking feeds out etc.

i've been looking at them but don't know which is best for signal levels, as i have only tried a few single lnbs on my dish

any recommendations as i have currently a smart titanium lnb which does very well on weak signals and want to keep that but have more outputs

thanks

My System: Various digiboxes, broken Nokia 9800S, numerous analogue boxes. My lovely little lappy, HP Omnibook 6100

No personal experience but I can't imagine any reason why you couldn't use one assuming that it's the correct type of feed horn for the type of dish of course.

I use an Invacom C120 Twin LNB on my motorised setup. Single, twin or quad, doesn't matter, all have single probes at the front end. Although some say the Invacom quad has a slightly better noise figure.

so the invacom is one to look at then as i had to try a few single lnbs to get the best one for my dish and thought i could try to round it to a few based on what people are using on there dishes etc

as quad lnbs are much more than single ones other wise i would buy a few and try them out if they were cheaper
