Which bit of the following did you not understand?? If you want yank tv that badly then fork out 100 quid a month on slingbox hosting stateside..... or move to yankland.

One way or another you pay a hefty monthly fee for the use of their equipment plus the subs charge.. Theres supposed to be an adaptor coming out to connect the distant sb to your tv set rather than having to use the computer. Check the slingbox site for details of what the exact details are and if its out. BTW I always call stateside yankland - have done for years. I went there a few years ago. Bloody awful place!
