My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 5 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/13E/16E /19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

Unless they are specifically authorised for AFN Europe (which they wont be as they are American) they are junk as far as you are concerned .

The ONLY PowerVu channels on 13E are the AFN ones:

You have already had an answer to that question. Which bit of the following did you not understand??

Look you may as well give up on AFN and anything else in PowerVu right now. Theres almost no way of getting hold of a decoder authorised for the service, and theres absolutely no way to hack the encryption.

If you want yank tv that badly then fork out 100 quid a month on slingbox hosting stateside..... or move to yankland.

Oh yes it is if you use a hosting company I assure you - I dont know exactly how it works - you may pay a one off for the SB then a rental on the line but however it works you pay a hefty monthly charge one way or another on top of the pay tv subscription. One way or another you pay a hefty monthly fee for the use of their equipment plus the subs charge..

Theres supposed to be an adaptor coming out to connect the distant sb to your tv set rather than having to use the computer. Check the slingbox site for details of what the exact details are and if its out.

BTW I always call stateside yankland - have done for years. I went there a few years ago. Bloody awful place!

if i get the sateside slingbox and can connect it on my tv then theres no need to anything monthly. because ive done a lot of research on slingbox and none of them are for monthly payments.
