My System: Dreambox 500C - Dreambox 500S- Disecq Motor from 1W - 30E -
satellite motor help

I have a satellite motor and i am trying to set it up. I am in ireland and my latitude is 53.1. does anyone know where i should be point my satellite to start with. I want to view maybe 28.2e,19,13,9, or any thing really in that line. Any help appreciated.

My System: Technomate TM6800D & TM1000D+ receivers, Stab H-H90 motorised Triax 1m dish 42E to 30W. Fixed Orbital 1m on 26E, 2 x minidishes.DigitAlB movies. A Bigsat BS-S77CX and a Sky Dodgibox.

Hi,

Have a read of this excellent guide:-

It explains everything.

You would set the system up on the satellite nearest to you due south, which may be 5W or 8W depending on what your longitude is.

The most important thing is to get the pole perfectly vertical.
