My System: triax td88 motorised, Vantage x221tsci, tms-1500ci, skystar 2, diablo v2.3, zone 2 minidish - setanta

mines not moved at all but we didn't have much or any wind at all overnight

it will move again with that dish i was surprised you didn't buy the polar mount and 12 inch actuator for it and use that much better than a diseqc motor

I second that - my polar mount / actuator's been rock solid despite the best efforts that the current weather conditions (should be - it's clamped to a dirty great 3" steel pole )

It's an adjustable mount that enables the satellite dish to follow the satellite arc. An actuator is mounted between the dish and a hinged point on the mount. The motor in the actuator controlled by a positioner moves the dish to the required satellite on the arc.

You would normally buy a matched dish and polar mount (e.g. Andrews, Gibertini )

You could check out our sponsors, they may have something suitable.

A typical mount and actuator is shown here -

My System: Channel Master 1.2 driven by Supermount SMR 1224 mount. V-Box 11 Triple Dragon Linux Receiver. Vantage VT-X221TSCI Blindscan Receiver. Diablo Wireless cam and base. 42" Panasonic Plasma Lots of boys toys!

Its a question of quality.
My 1.2 mtr Channelmaster and heavy duty mount hasnt moved a millimetre.
Gibertini dishes are good as a budget dish but disecq isnt the most stable of mount in a strong wind environment unfortunately!
